Description

Oktana is a custom software development company specializing in Salesforce technologies. Our current team of 300+ technologists is located in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and the United States, and we will continue to grow.


As a ServiceNow Engineer, you will collaborate and contribute to implementing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions.

 

This is a remote position based in Uruguay.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customization and configuration of modules such as ITSM, HR Service Delivery, and Customer Service Management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts, workflows, and business rules to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for ServiceNow implementations, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends to ensure the platform is utilized effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including core components and modules.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and scripting within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) are a plus.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with ITIL principles and IT service management processes.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and provide training on ServiceNow best practices.
