As an HR Analyst, you will join our HR team to support our team in Ecuador and help us nurture an energizing, engaging, and happy atmosphere where our teammates choose to build their careers. Your job is to ensure our team knows just how important they are to Oktana.
You will collaborate with teammates across Latin America and the U.S. to maintain consistent processes and, most importantly, culture. You will initially report to our Delivery Manager.
This is an on-site position in our Quito office. In this role, you provide stability to our team and a reason to visit our office to work together and enhance their remote work experience.
You will:
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to discuss customer feedback, career growth and goal progress with team members ranging from junior to senior
- Own the performance review process and career path of each team member
- Partner with Training to ensure training path complements project, interests and areas of improvement
- Partner with Resourcing to understand team member assignments and help communicate changes
- Partner with Delivery Directors to understand initiatives and encourage team member engagement
- Partner with Account Management to gather customer feedback or share team member feedback on project
- Coach team members on core HR topics, including how to receive and deliver feedback, how to manage conflicts within a delivery team and how to communicate with the customer
Other Responsibilities
- Organize communications and activities to increase engagement
- Partner with Marketing to support our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
- Support engagement with company-wide activities, including Annual Compliance Training, Annual Climate Survey, All-Hands Meetings, etc.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to maintain team member records including PTO requests and new project assignment approvals
- Ensure the team understands and follows company policies and procedures
- Manage onboarding, performance improvement plan, resignation, and off boarding processes
- Regularly review benefits to ensure they are competitive, clearly detailed, and meet local requirements
- Act as liaison with Finance and Operations in relation to payroll and benefit questions
Requirements
- 2-3 years of work experience as an HR Analyst or similar role, ideally with technical roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field
- Interest and ability to understand technical concepts and coach technical team members on their career path
- Ability to coach soft skills, including communication, leadership, self-awareness, empathy, conflict resolution, and adaptability to change.
- Intermediate, advanced English language skills
